Rafa looked really good (well, of course he did) tonight. Running like a gazelle, smashing balls everywhere. I loved it especially because he just wasn't going to put up with big ego across the net. I don't really hate everyone Rafa plays :) but I just don't dig JJ.
I can almost forgive JJ because he's pretty much a rookie and he'll learn that his arrogance and cockyness won't win him matches...or friends, but the commentators are twonks that they love his brashness and lack of respect for anyone. I thoroughly enjoyed Rafa's bullet right back at JJ's body on that one play. Gonna flex your muscles at me big mouth? Here, here's a little treat for you from someone who's earned his right to strut around the tennis court. :-P
Well said, Vernon...and JJ is young & will likely calm the ego down a bit. Rafa is so nice & polite that it's kinda nice to see his back fur stand up occasionally!
