I applauded him onto court in my own living room, as this picture is one of the best sights I've ever seen in tennis.

Rafa taking the walk of the Champion onto Centre Court to open the Wimbledon tournament proper ... well done Rafa. We are proud of you.

It was also a proud moment for Rafa's parents as they were invited into the Royal Box to witness their son open the tournament. What a lovely day for all the family.
