How lovely to see Rafa back!!
After a slightly rusty first couple of games or so, when Rafa started to wind up his forehand, he started to rock.
The Game Face is on, he seems to have some fire in his belly, and he looks like he wants it. Rafa ended up trouncing Jesse Levine by a 6-2, 6-0 scoreline. I don't have much to say about the tennis other than that he seemed pretty solid, and the return of serve seemed pretty damn good ... especially for the first match.
But let's talk shorts.
I loves them. And I'm liking Rafa's new top as the X is pretty subtle and as we all know, Rafa wears strong colours so well.
Obviously - and as the cliché goes - it's still one match at a time, and if Rafa faces Janowicz in his next match, he does have the bombs to face him. But let's enjoy this moment. Great to see Rafa back and playing very nicely today. VAMOS!!
