ArmadaWatch ...

Advantage Rolf and Turbot.

Shame ... cos it had started out fantastically well for Marc! and Marcel. They were superb in the first set and had break points early in the second. But an ensuing meleƩ after a point which woke the crowd up seemed to spur the Czech pair on. But at 5-5, Team M!andM had a break point which would have seen them serving for the set. But sadly, it wasn't taken and Team Minging took the game and sadly, broke Marc! to take the second. 1-set-all. Game on.

M!&M were still very much in it in the third, but history repeated itself and with Marc! serving at 5-6 down, he was broken. 2-1 to the Czechs. Mid-way through the 4th, another break saw Team Minging over the finish line and holding the advantage with a lead in the tie of 2 rubbers to Spain's 1.

First up tomorrow are both teams' No. 1s - David and Rolf. But do you know what?  I totally fancy David to take this. He's in a rich vein of form, confident, and has played much less tennis in this tie than Rolf. And after being taken to 5 sets yesterday and frankly with Turbot playing the much better to carry them through today, if anyone is the weakest link ... it's him.

So much hangs on this, but if David can do it, do I fancy Nico? Well no, I certainly don't fancy Nico *scoff* ... but could he come through to fry the Turbot? I think he might. Oh the sweet irony.

So let's prepare ourselves for a bout of vamossing very irresponsibly tomorrow, readers.

Come on the Armada!! You can do it, you can DO it!!!
