ArmadaWatch ...

Lollipop, lollipop, oooo lolli-lolli-lolli ... Lollipop.

Hehe ...

So its 1-all. David played splendidly well in his opener against Radek Stepanek and won fairly comfortably in 3 sets ... by managing to convert some of the 743 break points he had. *chuckle*

So next up was the "needle" match, where Rolf thought he just had to turn up and walk all over Nico. Wasn't so easy in the end, was it Rolf? Do you know, he has this nasty, blank, evil-eyed stare that bloke - don't you think? - and I seriously do expect him to pull out that whistle from his pocket at any moment to grass Maria and the children up to the Germans. Evil man.

Nico did magnificently well to take the match to a 5th set, but sadly for him and Spain, he decided to have a really dodgy service game mid-way through and it was his errors that essentially handed the break to Rolf ... who went on to win the match.  *booooooo*

Nico shook hands, but there was barely a look in Rolf's direction - and he deserved that.

So this doubles match is crucial to both sides to give a slight advantage going into the final day. And as the Czech Republic have a world-beater on their bench ready to play, Spain should be quaking in their boots, right?

Oh hang on ... now there's a surprise. Asshol and partner have been subbed from the doubles and Rolf and Turbot will play instead. Who would have thought ... ??? *whistle*

So come on Marc! and Marcel !! Let's hope the newly crowned WTF doubles champions can raise themselves for today.

Give it loads, Armada!! VAMOSSSSSS !!!
