Oh Lord ...

Toni's appeared at a press conference. Was the whole of Palma invited??

He's not one to keep quiet, is he? And I can't say I'm particularly looking forward to anything he's got to say. I think we've had enough this week with Rafa's own interview - which caused enough scrutiny and debate as it was, with every word being picked over from Spanish to French, to English, to Italian. I don't know what his media event was about, but one thing's for sure ... he's going to receive question after question over Rafa. Time to leave it, Toni.

  1. He never will. He cannot keep quiet or submerge himself. This has been advertised awhile, but this and his trip to SA are just going to be more opportunities to muddy the water. More mullings, more injudicious statements, I fear. Hope I'm wrong...

    1. So do you know more about what Toni is up to Athena? I'm out of the loop on this one. Its just that we've heard public statements from Dr Cotorro, from his knee specialist, from Rafa himself ... and Toni being public just draws out the story even more. I sometimes think he's the one with the ego.

  2. Oh, he IS the one with the ego. Always has been. I had an uncle like him, actually. Smart NT who couldn't succeed at anything, a know-it-all who mercilessly mocked us kids, who stormed out if he wasn't treated as the oracle... ugh.

I don't know why Toni's on a speaking tour of sorts. Money on the side? Trust fund for the kiddies? No one's saying. Apparently he's not as adverse to long flights as he's let on in the past...
