Rain, rain go away ...
Its raining in Rome and we're still waiting to see if we are going to have any play today. In the meantime, Rafa has posted this picture on his Facebook of him in full tennis kit having a game of pool! :D
No semi-final report from me yesterday, I'm afraid, as I spent the day in Manchester and then me and my Rafateer pals - Denzy and Rafan - went to see "Mr Entertainment" himself last night ... Barry Manilow. And he was absolutely brilliant!!
Who says I'm not too cool for school 8) ... :D
So they're showing yesterday's semi-final on telly as I write, but from reports I've read, it seems that Rafa had a slow start yesterday and wasn't quite as on fire as he was against Rolf. A tight first set with Rafa being broken, but then getting it back, lead us to a tie-breaker which Rafa won.
And once again, the mental collapse came from David as in yet another instance, he'd fought his absolute best, got to the pinnacle, and yet still its not good enough to beat Rafa. He totally folded in the second set and lost it, 6-0.
As the PoD beat Feds in the other semi-final, we have yet another final featuring these two. Although I'm not sure its going to get played today ...
