Players like Rolf (Tomas Berdych) speak of how its an ambition of theirs is to win ONE 1000 Masters title. And it just goes to show that it is with some very big sense of achievement what winning one actually is. Its a mandated attendance for all the top players, and whilst these days the matches are only over the best of three sets, it still means a level of performance over consecutive days and is nothing to be sniffed at.
And Rafa now has 20 of them ... and counting ... a record.
Of course the hatahs will say, take away the clay ones and he's not left with much. Well how about taking away Federer's hard court ones and how many is left with. ;)
Its a fabulous achievement, and the above clip celebrates it.
