Our first practice session at Monte Carlo was on the Wednesday, when we were lucky as we were of the first to arrive at the court and plonked ourselves right behind Rafa's chair to watch.
And we were that close that we were able to watch the sweat droplets drip down his neck when he sat down for a rest. Awesome!! I managed to capture it on camera and have posted the pictures, but can you believe that Olga (aka Natalie), who is the Russian lady bedecked every day in Spanish red and gold, managed to capture it on film.
This video is from her blog on VamosBrigade. And I have loved watching it again ... VAMOS!!
*speechless* and now that I can breathe and speak, it looked like it was raining. Reminded me of the finals in Barcelona against Ferrer where Rafa was perspiring/ soaking like he was caught in the rain. I wanted so much to take a towel to wipe the perspiration dripping off Rafa's face- from my tv screen.
ReplyDeleteLOL ... it was pretty spectacular watching it for real, I can tell you. Especially when he is just feet away from you. *thud*
