Armada doubles ...

Well after the parties, grassy knoll football and practice, the boys hit the court last night to play some doubles.

First up was a new partnership of Feli with Marcel Granollers. Interesting that one. I see that Feli has opted not to play with his long-term partner Fer, and has seemed to pick up with Marcel as Marcel's new partner, Marc! is playing with Rafa.

Anyhow, first up were Feli and Marcel against the PoD and his equally charming partner in Troiki ... and they WON! 7-5, 7-5. Fantastic result, boys!! They could possibly face The Bryans next.

Then it was time for Team Cuteness to take to the court against another Serb in Zimonjic who was partnered by Michael Llodra. And once again it was a positive result for the Armada boys as they ran out the winners in two sets by a 6-4, 6-4 scoreline. Seems that Zimonjic was once again pratting about behaving like the sore loser he is, whilst Llodra chose to racially abuse Chinese watching in the stands. What a charming pair. Still, a few extra seconds between points is much more heinous on-court behaviour than that sort of thing. Wonder if Feds will comment on that?

So into the next round both sets of boys go. VAMOS!!
