With all the speculation surrounding Rafa's shoulder issues and whether or not he'd even go to Abu Dhabi, he did return to training yesterday with his partner being his old pal, Carlos Moya. Sadly for Charley, his wife has recently mis-carried, so I hope some time out with Rafa did him some good.
But the news today is that Rafa is definitely going to Abu Dhabi and that he travels tomorrow.
This what Rafa had to say about it on Facebook ...
"Practicing with Agustin Boje, Andoni Vivanco and Alex Andino at Manacor! Ready for Abu Dhabi, let's get started!"
That's a positive message, Rafa ... and what was even more positive was the sleeveless t-shirt and wonderful contours of the bicep, hehe. However, it isn't all good news.
I don't have the sources, but quotes accredited on Twitter suggest that Toni has said that Rafa's preparation has not been the best though. Its two matches at the most, I suppose, to add to the preparation at Doha. I guess I just worry about that "intensity" when he's not 100% fit.
