Well folks ... how about the latest news on our Davis Cup adventure? Well, as you know, the farce of Ticketmaster left us without tickets on Tuesday, but when I came into work this morning, Rafan had been looking at a ticket agency site that sells on tickets that individuals sell to them, which didn't seem too expensive price wise. They will be in the Gods and will cost probably 3 times their face value, but ... its only money. *rollseyes* However, we needed to go through a whole day of umming and aahing, sending probably 100 emails between us, emails to the Spanish version of the website, the English version of the website, emails to the hotel we're staying at to see if they would take delivery of the tickets ... and whilst I was still in a final panic about it, I received yet another email from Rafan to say ... I've done it ... and then she promptly ran away. Hehe.
So we've booked tickets over the internet and have a receipt. The next thing is that the seller is supposed to despatch them by 30th August. We will get an email when they do, and we can track it to the hotel. The hotel will have to sign and hold them for us until we come. We are still sick with nerves that this will all come off - or at least, I am - but we have to give it a shot. Don't we??
Prepare yourselves for a nervoos two weeks ... and I don't mean the US Open. ;)
