Rafa in O2 practice ...

Rafa and Daveed got down to some real work today and hit the practice courts. Daveed once again showed up in grey pants, but this time with an appropriate top. Hehe.

Have to say I feel very whistful watching this video as it shows the columns that lead you up to the arena with the players' pictures emblazoned on them ... and it just brings back memories for me of last year when I attended the event and saw Rafa for the first time as he'd obviously been injured during the summer so I missed seeing him.

It was an amazing feeling just standing by the practice courts, waiting for Rafa ... and then there he was. Rafan - in her excitement - said, "Wooffie, he's here!!" ... and then ... "ooh, I don't have to call you Wooffie, I know your real name." Hehe ... so funny. And at one point Rafa was facing the crowd and I shouted, "Smile, Rafa!!", and he duly obliged. Bless ...

The cost of it all has precluded me from going this time, however, we have Rafan, Pearl and Mrs L there ... so I still hope to bring you lots of BREAKING O2 NEWS ...
