The Paris Bercy trophy ...

I used to think that the Paris Bercy trophy was one of the most sculpturaly elegant of all tennis trophies ... modelled here by the lovely Marat ...

I'm not actually sure when and why it changed to the effort which you see below - maybe somebody could fill in me in - but even with my love of modern sculpture ... I struggle to *appreciate* this one ...

... and I dread to think if Rafa were to win it how on earth he would manage to bite it.
