It wasn't that Rafa couldn't buy a break point ... he had a shed load of them ... but he just couldn't convert, and the frustration is evident within this clip ...
This has been a funny old tournament, more about what Rafa could bring to Thailand than actual tennis - but sometimes, its not just about the tennissss, is it? I think he's perhaps a bit mentally jaded after his US Open triumph, he's not playing in the kind of arena he enjoys, he's had more than one or two late nights with his boy pals ... so all in all, its good that its over and now he can move on to Tokyo and get his head back into gear.
Sorry to be a bit fed up with you yesterday, Rafa ... but you've got Thailand out of the way now, and need not come back there again.
