One of the lovely things about Rafa - well ... there are several actually, but whatever - is that inspite of his mega-stardom and success as an icon of tennis recognised probably across the world, when he returns to his beloved Mallorca, he is still just Rafalet.
He counts his family and friends as the backbone of his being and has remained grounded through all his success due to the fact that he has kept these same people around him throughout all of his life.
His regular hangout seems to be this place that we call "The Basement" and Rafa seems to have no problem being regularly snapped there. (How these pictures ever find themselves in the public domain I will never know ... but hey! who's complaining???)
