What news of the Machiavellian Court of Nadal ?

Not much to report today, but the news from the Spanish Court is getting slightly more promising. Andy Murray appeared on Radio 5 Live this evening and reported that he had spent an hour today hitting with Rafa. He reported that Rafa was hitting really well, but as it was so windy, neither of them were doing much running and Andy himself had tight hamstrings, so he couldn't really judge on his movement. However, he did reiterate how well Rafa was hitting.

Hot on the heels of that little gem, its then announced that Rafa will play Hurlingham ... a day early!!! He's going to play Lleyton Hewitt on Thursday as well as the Friday match against Wawrinka that he was initially scheduled for. I'd like to take this as a good sign in that he is progressing well in his rehabilitation ... and not think that they might be pushing too hard to get him fit in time ...

There's also been some good articles today.

One in the New York Times featuring some established journalists who have put some balance and perspective on the past few weeks and actually left me feeling rather positive ...

Another link centering on Toni and some information that we know from old ...

And finally, another New York Times article, provocatively entitled ... "Ripped. (Or torn up?) ...
