However, I was alerted today by the lovely MiK that details of Rafa's USO kit have been published ... and horror of horrors ... the colour is EGG YOLK YELLOW. Well people, you can imagine my abject horror as I have maligned that hideous spring-time kit to the extent that I would personally have burnt it. However, after looking at the pictoral evidence and seeing that it is one, block colour ... I've calmed down (cue contrasting black shorts) ...
The kit is described as an "hommage" to the famous yellow New York City cabs ... so is this Nike's way of engratiating Rafa to the New York public as they did with Feds and his monogrammed 1930's jacket and matching long trousers along with the fabelled cable-kit cardigan to the stuffy Wimbledon crowd? Hmmm ... ???
Actually ... I think I'm going to like it. But more so the "Night Kit" ... which is aaaaaaall blaaaaaaack ....
