As testament to his magnificent victory last year, Rafa will always be a Wimbledon Champion. However, tonight is his last evening as the reigning Wimbledon Champion. I have some sad malaise over it all, as if I want to rage against injustice. I know he hasn't helped himself by the schedule he chose to play in 2009, but I'm sad about the benefit it has offered to others.
Attached though, is a small clip of Rafa's magnificent homecoming from last year. May there be plenty more in the future as sometimes, sometimes ... the good guy wins.
