Rafa cruising to the quarters ...

It looked like another stunning, beautiful day in Monte Carlo today ... and Rafa also continued to shine.

Now I've started to construct this little paper cave type thing to both angle and hide my phone from a left-hand view whilst using my body to hide the right hand view ... the purpose of which is to try and hide the fact that I'm secretly watching tennis on my phone from work. Now whilst that worked for a few games today, when my twittering boss returned into the office, I had to do a caveman deconstruction because his constant flapping around my desk put an end to my duplicious behaviour.

And even when it was lunch-time and I'm sitting there with my ear plugs in clearly watching, he's still barking instructions at me from down the office. Grr ...

So in short, I wasn't able to properly watch the match today and I'm only just getting into the first set whilst watching my recording. Anyhow, Rafa won - yey! - beating Kohlschreiber 6-2, 6-4. A man wearing a kit as ugly as Kohlschreiber's doesn't deserve to win anyway. And speaking of kits, I have it on very good authority from my friends courtside that Rafa's shirt is indeed, a very pale shade of peppermint - like a chocolate chip ice cream - and not white as it appears on t'telly and in pictures.

Chocolate chip ... lick. *faint*

Rafa plays "Baby Fed" tomorrow - Grigor Dimitrov. Wonder if he'll make that baby cry also?

And in a day of a few shocks with Murray, Rolf and Del Potro going out ... you know who we're moving towards in a showdown, don't you. Thought I'd mention it seeing as I'd been speaking of cry babies. ;)
