As has been said on our forum this morning, in his 6-3, 6-4 match last night against Joao Souza, Rafa had that air about him that he sometimes has at Queens - latterly with Halle - in that he doesn't really look like he wants to be there, so he goes through the motions and sees what happens. And I tend to agree.
Also, my view is that he doesn't have confidence in his body yet (for obvious reasons), neither does he have any confidence in the court, and so if you combine the two together, you're not going to get the best of performances.
I don't expect him to do well here and he's probably looking forward to a week off to re-group and assess once more.
He plays Carlos Berlocq in his next match.
