Well I'm a bit late in updating Fer's progress in the Hopman Cup ... or end of it, so it turned out. :(
After Anabel lost again to Marion Bertoli, Fer needed to once again tie the rubber with a win against Richard Gasquet. Sadly he didn't do it, and lost in straight sets. I only caught the final moments of the tie, and Fer was a mixture of smiley faces and a few frustrating ones. Never mind Fer, you took Spain to the semi-finals and hopefully gained some confidence along the way.
Fer now travels for the first time to New Zealand as he plays in Auckland next week.
