Well, I think perhaps it is ... for a little while.
Rafa was in Madrid yesterday at a Nike event, and in this video he was asked about his decision not to play Davis Cup next year. David has confirmed his retirement from the competition altogether, and there's a short clip of their press conference. OK, its all in Spanish, but enjoy the pictures of that, and once again of the team's celebrations. And what I particularly liked is there's some footage of the boys arriving for the formal dinner in their beautiful suits (Uncle Toni included!) and we get a shot of the newspaper pages and how they carried the glorious news of the team's victory.
Note also that Rafa, Fer and Feli have been invited by Real Madrid to attend this weekend's El Classico football match against Barcelona. Now before the match, I think they've got the opportunity to go on the pitch and kick a ball or something. I may not have got that quite right, but I'll be tuning in to see regardless. As we know, those three are senseless Madrid fans, so I'm sure they'll see it as a great honour.
Just thought ... I hope it doesn't clash with The X-Factor final ... *cough*
