Another match where Rafa plays during my sleeping hours, but I was up and having my cup of tea during the final stages and so was able to see him win the final game and with it, the match.
Raonic is still on the comeback trail from injury and it seems that once in the rally, he obviously struggled, but what he did have was the serve. But on the two chances that Rafa got on it - a break point in either set - he did it, and took them. And as his own serve was working well with 72% first serves in and 72% first service points won and add to that a whopping 92% second service points won ... Raonic didn't even make a break point. So match Rafa.
Santiago Giraldo is his next opponent.
