
But enough of that! Rafa's first round opponent was the Japanese, Kei Nishikori, and whilst I was only able to keep awake for the first set, he played a very good match against our Rafa. Rafa played reasonably solid and just effective tennis, taking his break opportunity, and it seems that the second set was much of the same. I think the serve was better, but at 59% overall for the match, there still could be improvement.
Rafa won out by a 6-4, 6-4 scoreline to set up a dreeeeeeeeeeeeeam encounter of hotness with deliciano Feliciano in the next round. I hope the eternal triangle that's been going on of late over the various bromances doesn't have an effect.
