Well ... it may have been midnight local time when Rafa arrived in Melbourne, but he was met by a TV crew and a whole throng of Rafaroos who came armed with their hundreds of Babolat racquets for him to sign. No ... I don't get that either.
Anyhow, he's there, he practised today but the rain thwarted him and he didn't take up the opportunity to practice later under the roof on the Rod Laver court. Possibly because it would only have been a "mini-practice", like should he win this 4th Slam in a row, it would only be a "mini-Slam" ... according to Mr Laver that is. ;-)
