Rafa's Tennis Locker Bundle ...

Last year during the WTF finals, there was an auction of the players' pictures where they hit paint filled tennis balls at a caricature of themselves. Now whilst everyone expected either Rafa's or Roger's to hit the big bucks, the surprise winner for the highest bidder in the auction ended up being my squeeze, *perfume*, Andy Roddick.

This year, the ATP concept is for bids on each players' Locker Bundle ... *faint*. Anyhow, this is officially what is described as Rafa's "bundle" ...

  1. :hangs head in shame: Had my cheque book out ready to bid and hang the financial consequences, when I realised it wasn't that kind of 'bundle' !!

To be honest though, I think Rafan's suggestion of selling raffle tickets at say a tenner, would be of so much more worth to the average fan because and auction bid is strictly for the privileged and rich few. I mean, who wouldn't love the items in those lockers? But its out of the reach to mere mortals, and that is shame. :(
